Description

4-Butylresorcinol is one of the most potent brightening actives used in skin care. It works by inhibiting tyrosinase, the enzyme that drives melanin production, helping visibly reduce dark spots, post-blemish marks and uneven skin tone.

Because it is effective at very low levels, a small pack goes a long way. It is supplied as a white to off-white crystalline powder and suits serums, spot treatments and tone-evening creams, and it pairs well with other brightening actives such as niacinamide and vitamin C derivatives.
