1. About us
www.hybridingredients.co.uk is run by Hybrid Ingredients, a trading division of Fossil Therapy, 141 Folkestone Road, Dover, CT17 9SG, United Kingdom ("we", "us", "our"). You can contact us by email at sales@grandhealthcare.co.uk or by phone on 01795 597 762.
2. These terms
These terms apply to every order you place on our website. Please read them before ordering. By placing an order, you agree to them. Our Shipping Policy, Refund Policy and Privacy Policy also apply.
We sell to both consumers and businesses. Where these terms treat the two differently, we say so. If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
3. Our products
- Our products are raw materials for making cosmetic and personal care products. They are not finished cosmetics and are not intended to be applied to the skin, hair or body in the form supplied, unless the product page says otherwise.
- Our products are not for internal use, ingestion or medicinal purposes.
- Product information on our website, such as INCI names, typical use levels, processing advice and certifications, is based on information from the manufacturer. It is given in good faith as general guidance. You should test each ingredient in your own formula to check it is suitable.
- Safety data sheets (SDS) and further technical documents are available on request.
- Product images are for illustration. Colour, form and appearance can vary slightly between batches.
4. Your responsibilities
- Store, handle and use our products safely and in line with their safety data sheet. Keep them away from children.
- If you make cosmetic products to sell or give away, you are responsible for making sure they comply with the law. In the UK, this includes the UK Cosmetics Regulation, which requires a Responsible Person, a cosmetic product safety report (safety assessment) and product notification before the products are placed on the market.
- You are responsible for checking that each ingredient, and the amount you use, is permitted and suitable for your product and your market.
5. Orders
- When you place an order, we'll email you to confirm we've received it. Our contract with you starts when we dispatch your order.
- We may decline or cancel an order, for example if an item is out of stock, there is a pricing error, or we can't deliver to your address. If we do, we'll tell you and refund you in full.
- We welcome trade customers, including makers, brands and resellers. For larger quantities or regular orders, please contact us.
6. Prices and VAT
- Prices on our website are shown excluding VAT. VAT is added at the current rate at checkout, where it applies.
- Delivery charges are shown at checkout and in our Shipping Policy.
- We may change our prices at any time, but changes won't affect orders we have already accepted.
- If we discover an obvious pricing error after you order, we'll contact you before dispatching. You can then go ahead at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.
7. Pre-orders
Pre-order products show an expected arrival date on the product page. This date is an estimate from our supplier and may change. We'll tell you if it is delayed. You can cancel a pre-order for a full refund at any time before it is dispatched.
8. Delivery
Delivery options, charges and timescales are set out in our Shipping Policy. Products are your responsibility once they have been delivered to the address you gave us.
9. Returns and refunds
Our Refund Policy explains how to return unopened items and what to do if something arrives damaged, faulty or incorrect.
If you are a consumer, you also have a legal right to cancel an online order within 14 days of receiving it. Because of hygiene and safety, this right does not apply to sealed products once you have opened them.
10. Our liability
- Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded by law.
- We are not responsible for any loss or damage caused by misuse of our products, by use that does not follow the product information or safety data sheet, or by the formulation, safety or performance of products you make with our ingredients.
- If you are a consumer: we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. We are not responsible for loss or damage that was not foreseeable.
- If you are a business: we are not liable for any loss of profit, sales, business or revenue, or for any indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability for any order is limited to the price you paid for that order.
11. Our website
The content of our website, including text, images and product descriptions, belongs to us or our licensors. You may not copy or reuse it without our written permission. We try to keep our website accurate and available, but we can't guarantee that it will always be error-free or uninterrupted.
12. Your personal information
We use your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on our website when you place your order is the one that applies to that order.
14. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
If you have a problem with your order, please contact us first at sales@grandhealthcare.co.uk. We'll do our best to put things right.
