Description

Cocamidopropyl betaine is a mild amphoteric surfactant with very low colour and odour. It gives rich foam and lather, builds viscosity, and is clear and stable across a wide pH range.

Combined with anionic surfactants such as SLES, it improves mildness and foam, which is why it appears in most shampoos, body washes and facial cleansers.
