Description

Pearlising Liquid is a fine dispersion of ethylene glycol distearate in a surfactant solution. It adds a bright white pearl effect to shampoos and shower gels by cold process, and a visible pearl appears from as little as 0.3%. It can also add some thickness.

Formulation Guide

Preparation

  • Pearlising fluid is mixed with all other ingredients. The mixture is stirred until it is homogeneous.
  • A very low viscosity in the final product may result in a gradual separation which will settle to the bottom. In such cases, suitable thickening agents should be used to adjust the viscosity.
  • Recommended usage concentration 0.3 - 3.0% TEGO® Pearl N 300
