Description

TEGO® Care PBS 6 MB is a PEG-free O/W emulsifier made entirely from renewable raw materials. It is designed for fluid emulsions such as lotions and sprays, including demanding systems with high loads of water-soluble UV filters, insect repellents or natural preservatives.

It allows energy-saving hot/cold processing and gives stable emulsions across a wide pH range.

Recommended usage concentration

  • 2.5 - 4.0%

It is suitable for the formulation of O/W emulsions with all types of cosmetic oils at a pH of 4.0 to 8.5.

Formulation Tips

  • Typical oil phase contents of emulsions based on TEGO® Care PBS 6 MB are 10 - 30% for lotions and 10 – 20% for sprays.
