Description

Myritol® 318 is a plant-derived medium-chain triglyceride from BASF. It is a clear, low-viscosity, almost odourless oil that spreads well and leaves a light, non-greasy, silky feel.

It is highly resistant to oxidation, so it is a dependable alternative to plant oils that can go rancid. It is also an excellent carrier and solvent for oil-soluble actives, vitamins, fragrances and UV filters, and it helps wet and disperse pigments. It is one of the most widely used emollients in skin care and make-up.
